EC-2A & B FOR DECKS WITH LIGHTWEIGHT
FILL OR TAPERED INSULATION
The uniformity in method and design offered with RPS Expansion Curb and Wall Cant Curb provides the excellent flashing termination point and ensures a water-tight installation.
Inside and outside corners, as well as sloping end sections, are available to complement the installation. "S" shaped connection clips and "V" shaped spreader clips are supplied for easy erection and alignment. Fabricated of 18 gauge galvanized steel with attached wood nailer, 1-1/2" thick 3# density rigid fiberglass board insulation, and tee-bar reinforcing.
SPECIFICATION
Furnish and install RPS EXPANSION CURB and RPS WALL CANT CURB as manufactured by Roof Products & Systems Corporation, Bensenville, IL, at all locations shown on drawings. Expansion Curb and Wall Curb shall include inside and outside corners and sloping end sections to maintain uniformity as shown on drawings.
Expansion Curb and Wall Cant Curb shall be fabricated of 18 gauge galvanized steel, tee bar reinforced, with factory installed wood nailer, and shall be insulated with 1-1/2" thick, 3# density rigid fiberglass board. Standard curb height to be 11" unless otherwise shown on drawings. Each section of two sided Expansion Curb shall include two- 6" long "V" shaped spreader clips and two- "S" connector clips. Each section of Wall Cant Curb shall include only one- "S" connector clip. On single-ply roofing, lightweight fill, or tapered insulation use RPS Model EC-2A. Use RPS Model EC-2B if additional field installed insulation is required.
